A property that is in an area which is popular with families, close to schools, universities, and other amenities then the pool can make the property even more attractive. If the properties that are further away from the beach can benefit greatly by the addition of a swimming pool. On the other hand, if the property is in a high-end neighbourhood and most people of that neighbourhood have a pool. In fact, not having a swimming pool might make the home harder to sell.
Pools come in huge variety of shapes, sizes and price points. The trick is to choose the one that will suit your home and budget. As with any home improvement or renovation, it is important not to overcapitalise. If you spend too much money, you may not get back the cost of your renovation when you sell.
